Classroom Enhancement Grant Program

Each year, the Foundation will consider grant requests from Riverview High School faculty members for materials or programs that are deemed worthy and meet specific priorities. These priorities may change from year to year depending on school initiatives.

Teacher Travel Enrichment Program

This Grant is administered by the Riverview High School Foundation with regard to travel funds provided by a private benefactor. The program supports TEACHER travel for the purpose of enhancing their personal life experiences. The application deadline is 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019. Please note that all applicants MAY be required to make a personal presentation. Applications MUST be submitted electronically by the deadline, March 8, 2019.

RHS Foundation Career Scholarship

This scholarship provides up to $1,000 toward career oriented education (i.e. Suncoast Technical College or State College of Florida awarded to a RHS graduating senior. The applicant should NOT be attending a 4-year college or university (except for “career based” community college or vocational school), but must have a career goal (i.e. trade). DEADLINE IS March 8, 2019

Dr. Grimm’s Discovery Award

Riverview High School has an award in the name of Dr. Larry Grim. One senior each year will be presented with a book/compass award at Senior Awards night and have his/her name placed on a plaque in the library.

Dr. Patrick Rodi & Yvonne Vigue-Rodi Engineering Scholarship

The Dr. Patrick E. Rodi and Yvonne Vigue-Rodi Engineering Scholarship is designed to encourage Riverview High School graduating seniors to follow Dr. Rodi (a class of 1979 RHS alum) and his wife into engineering by supporting a student through a one-time cash award of $500. The recipient shall be a graduating senior from Riverview High School who has declared either Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering as their major, and has accepted admission into one of the universities specified on the application. Application deadline is March 8, 2019.

Ronald Frymire Memorial Scholarship

A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a Riverview High School graduating senior who has a minimum 3.0 grade point average and will be attending a college or university to major in a field of science or education. Application deadline is March 8, 2019.

General Grant Application

Use this for specific requests that don’t fall under any other category of already established grant applications.
