Beyond the Goal Scholarship

This scholarship honors the dedication, leadership, and athletic excellence of former Riverview Rams player and current coach Jamie Brester. It is awarded annually to a female athlete who embodies the same spirit and commitment that Jamie brought to the field and the classroom.

Scholarship Amount: $500

The application deadline is April 15, 2025.

Criteria:

Academic Achievement: Minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrated academic commitment and potential, strong letters of recommendation from teachers.
Athletic Commitment: Athlete at Riverview High School, significant contributions to the team's success (leadership), positive sportsmanship and teamwork.
Brester-esque Spirit: Embodies the qualities that define Jamie Brester: perseverance, passion, dedication, resilience, and a positive attitude on and off the field. This can be demonstrated through community involvement, overcoming challenges, or leadership qualities.
Financial Need: Outlining the student's financial need and how the scholarship would impact their ability to pursue higher education.
