Yu First Generation Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: $1,000

DEADLINE: The application deadline is April 5, 2024.

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a Riverview High School graduating senior. Applicants must be first-generation college-bound students, defined as a student whose parents have not graduated from an institute of higher education with a four-year degree.

The scholarship requirement will be awarded in part based on the following criteria:

• First-generation, graduating senior from Riverview High School, class of 2024
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Proof of acceptance/intent to a 4-year college/university for Fall 2024
• Letter of recommendation from a current Riverview High School faculty member or staff member

Note: All funds will be paid directly to the institution.
